Since 1992, A E LaSage has lived worked in Ketchikan Alaska while perfecting her craft. At Evergreen State College, she earned her BA in a Creative Writing and Arts program. She has had short-stories published in The Inside Passage,a literary magazine for South East Alaska.

She has also collaborated with a local photographer to create a collection of short stories and photographs entitled,

Behind the Bridge to Nowhere: Ketchikan as We See it.
